The Brooklyn Center Police Explorers is opportunity for youth ages 14 - 21 to explore a law enforcement career.  Explorers learn about a law enforcement career by spending time with police officers in various training, special events and a ride along program.
 
Selection of Brooklyn Center Explorers includes an application, interview, and background investigation for interested applicants.
 
Explorers primarily meet on Sunday nights from 5:00 – 7:30 pm, September through May.

Special Events:
During the summer, Explorers participate in the Earle Brown Days Parade, Dudley Softball Tournament, Graduations, Safety Camp, and Explorer Fundraisers.

State Conference Law Enforcement Competition:
Explorers from around the state compete as a team by taking active participation in law enforcement scenarios.

Ride Along:
Explorers earn a monthly police ride along for attendance and participation in the program.
