The Blaine Police Explorer Post 3939 boasts a very large and dedicated group of advisors including many that we are unable to list above.   These advisors are all staff of the City of Blaine.  With the help of these advisors we will continue to move forward and improve.  The Explorers are ages 14-20 and all are enrolled in High School or College.  They are taught how to become better listeners, gain confidence and become a positive role model in the community.  Police Explorers also have many opportunities to volunteer for the community at events like the 3M Championship and the annual Blaine Blazin’ 4th Festival.  They also leave with a basic knowledge of the Law Enforcement career.  The Blaine Police Department offers opportunities to dedicated explorers to advance after their explorer career and move up within the police department.  Although we cannot offer everyone a position we provide the opportunity to be part of the hiring process.  Several of the Explorers have already moved into the department as Community Service Officers, Reserves and Police Officers.  Visit our website at www.blainepoliceexplorers.com.
